Stunning place with a perfect country feel, situated in a gorgeous little village. We stayed here on our way from Scotland back down south. The family room was spacious, clean and comfortable (2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a hallway). The staff were polite, helpful and welcoming. The food was excellent and the bar area is homely and beautifully decorated. We would definitely return again!

Really delicious food but small portions. Ordered Thai green chicken curry and didn't even receive a full breast of chicken. 16 for rice, vegetables and a few bits of scrap chicken with a spicy coconut sauce
Excellent food, enjoyed so much on Saturday, returned to eat again Monday evening. Essential to book weekends.Chef trained at the Savoy in London; food well above usual pub standard.
Great place. Booked in and was pleasantly surprised at the lovely double room suite. We had reserved a table for dinner and had a lovely meal from a new menu and they catered for our 8 year old as well. We had a great night sleep. The breakfast set us up for the day! Would recommend and we will definitely come again.
