Excellent food and service from Very polite and helpful staff. It was starting to get busy when I was in, but if a new customer came in, they asked if they needed any fish or anything frying to cut waiting time. PS, best fish Pattie I've had in a while.
Very good fish and chips, almost the best I've ever had! The chips were nice, hot and chunky, and the fish was fresh, delicious and very white. We were served by 2 waitresses, one who was excellent and the other that looked as if she was new, and a bit inexperienced but that was fine. The seating was good, with table service which was very pleasant. The only thing I would say is that the portions weren't very big, but I don't think we ordered the largest dish so it could probably have been larger. Very could price, around 9 a head, for very good fish and chips and around 3 cups of tea from the teapot. Will definitely go again and recommend!
The best fish and chips in Teesdale...take away and restaurant with toilet facilities. Lovely friendly staff!Can get busy.. but worth the wait!
Outstanding venue, clean as a whistle. The service was exceptional and the cod and chips were unreal. Absolutly brilliant. Its obvious its an award winning restaurant by the high standards and exceptional quality of food. Well done guys!
Really nice fish shop. I have visited this shop on several occasions when passing on days out. The fish is lovely and so is the homemade fish cakes. The chips always look nice and clean too. They also have gluten free options. You can eat in or take out. Tea/coffee available (coffee wasn't very nice). There's limited parking outside.
