A wonderful stay in a typical Victorian style guesthouse: located in characteristic village of Barnard Castle, Homeland guesthouse can provide you a relaxed atmosphere and a quite environment. Sometimes it can seems that the time is stopped so you can only take care of your favorite thoughts away from real life. The chef Daniele will delight your palates with delicious dishes of English and Italian cuisines and Last but not least the wonderful Glenda will make you feel at home. If you want to explore north of England you have to stay in Homelands Guest House.
Very well-appointed, Glenda was welcoming and attentive. We had the garden room which was secluded and comfortable. Tasty cooked breakfast with lots of choice. Would definitely recommend it and would happily stay again - it's in a great location, just a short walk from the town centre with free parking directly outside the house.
