Very busy, very good service and delicious food. Portion sizes beat us!!! Very close to 5*. If the balti sauce had a deeper/ richer flavour it would have been. Best lime pickle I've ever had and the merlot was good for restaurant faire. Very much recommended.

Simply the best Indian restaurant in the North East. And they've been awarded that title several times. We live in London and we ALWAYS make a point of visiting Spice Island whenever we come back to the area. Try the Karishna Kapoor if you like a hot curry and a taste sensation.
Spice Island was recommended to us. Was NOT disappointed. Beautiful food. Generous portions and very reasonable prices. We had a takeaway. But I think next time we'll book a table. Staff very helpful and friendly.
